The Board FAQ states there is no limit on how many times a candidate may retake the written examination.

Retake sequence

  1. Review the score information and identify weak topics.
  2. Submit the current re-examination application and required fee.
  3. Wait for new PSI scheduling information.
  4. Complete category drills and at least one timed 110-question simulation.
  5. Verify identification name before the new appointment.
